RECORD
Since I became mayor, Mankato has seen strong, measurable growth across the community and local economy.

More people. More businesses. More jobs. Higher wages. More homes. A stronger tax base to invest back into our community.
FUTURE
Building on what we've accomplished. Preparing for what's next.
Mankato is growing, and we need to make sure that growth works for everyone who calls our community home. The last eight years have shown what is possible when we work together, and in the next four I want to build on that progress while addressing the needs of a growing community.
I see Mankato as one community. No matter your age, income, background, faith, or where you are in life, everyone deserves to be heard, respected, and given the opportunity to build a good life here.
My goal is simple: keep Mankato moving forward while making sure it remains a great place to live, work, raise a family, and build a business.
We can create a stronger Mankato by making sure opportunity is shared across our community.
Expand housing choices for the people who want to call Mankato home.
I will continue supporting affordable and workforce housing, strengthening partnerships that create new opportunities, and preserving the housing we already have. We also need to keep moving forward on supportive housing and solutions for people experiencing homelessness.
Keep investing in the places that make Mankato feel like home.
I will continue investing in parks, trails, recreation, and public spaces while making sure improvements reflect what residents want and need. Our neighborhoods should offer welcoming places for families to gather, children to play, and people of all ages to enjoy.
Protect the investments that keep our community strong and prepare for what comes next.
I will continue prioritizing the infrastructure, public facilities, and community spaces Mankato relies on every day. As our city grows, we need to make smart investments now so we are prepared for the future.
Make it easier and safer for people to get where they need to go.
I will continue improving transportation options, maintaining roads and sidewalks, strengthening connections between neighborhoods, and making transit more accessible and useful for residents of all ages.
Keep Mankato a place where businesses can start, grow, and succeed.
As a small-business owner, I know how important it is for the city to listen to its business community. I will continue supporting local businesses, attracting new investment, and helping employers connect with the workforce they need.
Plan ahead so Mankato can grow without losing what makes it special.
I will continue supporting thoughtful growth while making sure housing, transportation, infrastructure, and city services keep pace. Growth should strengthen both our tax base and our community while respecting taxpayer dollars.

STORY
My connection to Mankato began when I was a little girl. My family lived here when I was young, and although life eventually took me away, Mankato stayed a part of my story. After I married John, we returned to Mankato to build a life of our own.
Over time, Mankato became more than the place where we lived and worked. It became home...
